Become Part of the Benevolent Fund of the GGSU

Objective

The Benevolent Fund of the GGSU has been set up with the aim to help members with a minimum financial aid and support during times of personal crises.

Contribution:

Entrance Fee:           Rs10.

Monthly subscription fee: Rs20.

Refund of Contribution:

In case of Retirement/Resignation from service  

In case of death: Family of the member is provided a death grant

How to Become a Member of the Benevolent Fund of the GGSU

To join the Benevolent Fund, you must complete the following steps:

1. Fill in the Benevolent Fund Membership Form.

2. Download, print, and complete the Authorisation to Check-Off Form.

3. Pay the entrance fee of Rs 10.

• The Membership Form is submitted online.

• The Authorisation to Check-Off Form must be printed, duly completed, scanned and sent by email to ggsunion@intnet.mu along with a scanned copy of your National Identity Card (NIC).  This authorisation ensures that the monthly membership fee of Rs 20 is automatically deducted from your salary.
